Title: Fairy Cover-Up Tattoo 🧚♀️
This piece was created as a cover-up for an existing small character tattoo, transforming it into a fairy with stained-glass-inspired wings.
To me, cover-up work is more than simply hiding an old tattoo. It’s about turning something from the past into a completely new piece of art. For this design, I used the graceful silhouette of a fairy and vibrant stained-glass wings to effectively conceal the original tattoo while creating a striking fantasy-inspired artwork.
The intricate wing details and subtle colors work together to create a dreamy and magical atmosphere.
It was a rewarding project to help give an old tattoo a beautiful new life.

기존에 있던 작은 캐릭터 타투를 커버업하여, 스테인드글라스 날개를 가진 요정 디자인으로 새롭게 완성했습니다.
커버업은 단순히 가리는 작업이 아니라, 기존 타투의 흔적을 자연스럽게 녹여내면서도 새로운 작품으로 재탄생시키는 과정이라고 생각합니다. 이번 작업은 요정의 우아한 실루엣과 화려한 컬러의 날개를 활용해 기존 타투를 효과적으로 커버하면서도 하나의 판타지 작품처럼 표현했습니다.
특히 스테인드글라스를 연상시키는 날개 디테일과 은은한 색감이 어우러져 몽환적인 분위기를 더욱 살려주었습니다.
오랫동안 고민이었던 타투를 새로운 모습으로 바꿀 수 있어 저 역시 즐거운 작업이었습니다.
