Title: Pinned Butterfly Norigae
A reinterpretation of the traditional Korean norigae with a butterfly motif.
Inspired by Korean ornamental accessories, this design combines a hairpin, decorative knots, tassels, and butterfly wings into a single piece. I wanted to create something that feels both traditional and contemporary, blending Korean aesthetics with a slightly surreal and artistic mood.
One of my favorite things about designing is finding new ways to reinterpret traditional elements and give them a modern identity.

비녀, 매듭, 술 장식 등 한국 전통 장신구의 요소들과 나비의 아름다운 날개를 하나의 작품으로 표현해 보았습니다. 전통적인 아름다움은 유지하면서도 조금 더 현대적이고 독창적인 분위기를 담고 싶었습니다.
전통 문양과 장신구를 새로운 시선으로 재해석하는 작업을 좋아하는데, 그 매력이 잘 담긴 디자인 중 하나인 것 같습니다.
